Once again we are partnering with Lunch, Learn & Play at the Salem Courthouse Community Center the Greenwich Youth Center, and we are thrilled to be adding a third program this year for the Cambridge Youth Center.
Farm Photography for Kids gives children (ages 8 and up) a unique opportunity to visit some of our region’s picturesque farms, explore what goes on and learn how to take fantastic photos of farm animals and landscapes. Professional photographers Dona Ann McAdams and Cliff Oliver will teach participants the fundamentals of photographic composition and lighting while sharing their expert insights and techniques for achieving that perfect shot.
At the end of the program, one photo from every participant will be chosen to be professionally printed and displayed in ASA’s booths at the Washington County Fair, the Schaghticoke Fair and other gallery-style venues around the Capital District. Don’t miss this great opportunity for your children to experience and capture the beauty and diversity of our area’s working farms!
Sign up today through the Cambridge Youth Center, the Greenwich Youth Center, and the Salem Courthouse Community Center.
Farm Photography for Kids is made possible through support from area business sponsors and funding from the Decentralized Program, a re-grant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, administered by LARAC.
